We create real-world missions, which are good for the planet. New missions are released every week, so there’s always a fresh new challenge.

Each mission has a positive impact on the planet. We share your impact with you, so you can see the difference you’re making. More impact means more points in Genus...and we like to celebrate the wins!

• LEVEL UP
By completing the weekly missions, you earn points, which unlock new stuff. Streaks add another layer of fun that help you to speed up your progress The more you play, the bigger your impact, and the quicker you earn points, new features and upgrades.

• EASY AND FUN
Anyone from age 8 can become a Genus Agent and we’ll give you everything you need to become a champion for the environment. You can make the missions as easy or as hard as you like, so there’s a challenge for all ages. Doing the right thing has never been so easy!

• FRIENDS
You can connect with friends and work together on missions. Or you can compete with others to see who can get to the top of the leader board. Who said saving the planet couldn’t be fun?

• Genus creates productive and positive activities for young people and their families. This is guilt-free screen time!
• Our Agents learn by playing and doing. There is a genuine educational benefit to Genus...that doesn’t mean it’s not fun though!
• There are also great mental health benefits to playing Genus. It can help fight climate anxiety, it helps build sustainable ties with the local community and can develop productive relationships within the app (unless social features are restricted)
• You can even save money with many of our missions.

SCREEN TIME TO GREEN TIME
Genus has lots of exciting stuff in the app, but it comes alive in the real world, where you can take part in fun and real missions. We balance screen time with time spent doing real things - things that get our Agents away from a screen and doing something positive for the planet.

SAFETY
Genus builds controlled and secure virtual communities, in order to maximise the impact our Agents can generate together. Safety is paramount to us and (if selected) parents/guardians/responsible adults get to set permissions and have visibility over all activities in the app. There are social elements to the app, but these can be simply turned off if required.
